Publishing services
From an idea to a finished publication
Alongside our own books and comics, VHS Publications works with authors, organisations and creative collaborators. We can support individual stages or work across the publishing process, with the scope agreed around your project.
Editing
Support with developing and refining your text, with editorial requirements agreed at the outset.
Illustration
Original illustration for books, comics and other publications, developed to suit the story and its readers.
Production
Bringing words and images together and coordinating publication production. Printing and binding are outsourced to external suppliers; VHS does not print or bind books in-house.
Distribution and fulfilment
Support with getting publications to readers and handling orders and dispatch, with arrangements agreed for each project.
Funding-supported projects
For suitable projects, we can explore funding opportunities and prepare applications. Eligibility, responsibilities and timescales are agreed individually. Awards are decided by the funder and cannot be guaranteed.
